The inaugural computational social interaction workshop was held at Biosphere 2 near Tucson Arizona. The event was very successful and inspired the creation of this website, which we hope will enable continued collaboration, sharing of ideas, and perhaps even kindle a second workshop. We are very thankful for NSF support for this workshop (grant number BCS-1444761). For more information please visit the workshop webpage.

Welcome to Comp-SI.

Comp-SI (computational social interaction) is about computational modeling of social interaction. Our goal is to bring together social and computational scientists with a shared interest in computationally intensive modeling of dynamic social interaction. This web site was constructed to continue the excellent community building that occurred at the inaugural NSF funded computational social interaction workshop held November 8-9, 2014, at Biosphere 2 near Tucson Arizona. We hope that this web site will serve the Comp-SI community at large, not just those that were at the inaugural workshop.
